It's interesting that a company like FedEx will drive electric car but the US Postal Service does not have any. HMMMMMMMMM Obozo has to go in November.

If they could preplace their charging stations well they'll do fine on a fairly fixed route.

fleet owners know the average mileage per day per vehicle. make sense to use electrics if they can go the daily distance. easy enough to recharge them over night. as for me, i drive about 500 miles a week so it wont do me much good. current truck gets about 33mpg and it is paid for.

Good for them. Testing is what is needed. And this will push for better, more reliable and more affordable vehicles.

EVs maybe the way to go for short haul vehicles like local delivery vehicles (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.) but are generally not ready for prime time for the personal automobile.
