" While I agree tax breaks should be cut across the board, and the deficit paid off, Seems to me they were thinking of the little guy for once. Do you really think increasing tax on any business will lower the cost at which they sell their product? Raise tax too high, and they take their business and our jobs to another country. That would really help us.

Super insulate the home and add a solar hot water heater and solar heating and you'll knock off another $50 or more monthly now. Through the years, you'll be saving even more than your neighbors as the electric rates go up and they will as they always have. Add solar panels and you'll probably eliminate the electric bill altogether as many have already.
