No, our "A" School was more inland. BUT, that was 45 years ago, so I don't know how it is now. I served from '67 - '73.

Actually, no. I was a Nuc MM, but I did go to "A" school at Great Lakes. I didn't become an Electronic Technician until I was out seven years. I liked the work a lot.
